Dominque Bailey grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and started dancing at 18. He trained with renown dance company, Verve, at Glendale Community College, where he received his Associates degree in Arts & Dance.
His dance journey has allowed him to dance alongside so many different dance companies within his community. Dominque has danced and trained with Scorpius Dance Theatre, Prolifics Dance Company, and Classical Fusion Dance. His dancing has allowed him to travel inside and outside of the U.S., performing with many amazing artistic directors and dancers.
Dominque thrives in the element of partner work, as well as cotemporary and hip-hop movement styles. Dominque isn’t limited to being a dancer and performer; he also loves to create and set choreography through the valley.
Dominque is an original CaZo Dance member, and has been an assistant choreographer on many pieces throughout the years. Dance is something that will always mean the world to him and he plans to dance alongside the amazing CaZo Director, Bridgette Borzillo, and all the members of the company for years to come.
One of Dominque’s favorite quotes was said by Albert Einstein: “Dancers are the athletes of gods.” Dominque believes that magic can be created on stage through dance, and as long as dance is in his heart, he will continue to move and create.
