Ashley Dalton is a second-generation Arizona native. She began taking dance classes at age 3 at the local community center. She knew from that point forward dancing was what she wanted to pursue. She was a studio baby for many years and danced throughout high school. After graduation she went on to receive her AA in dance at Paradise Valley Community College. She transferred to Arizona State University to earn her BFA in dance education. She taught in a local high school for almost 11 years and worked as an adjunct professor at GCC, EMCC, and PVCC. She’s had the pleasure of working with dance companies across the valley. She is privileged to be a member of SM2 Dance Company spearheaded by Sara Malan-McDonald. An interesting twist of fate recruited her to become a first grade teacher with a local charter school where she is currently the first grade lead. She works as a freelance stage manager, lighting designer, and light board operator; her work including collaboration with Desert Dance Theater, Cazo Dance, and Wight Noise Dance Company. She is a proud mother of 2 humans and 2 doggos, as well as happily married to her amazing husband.
