Sarah Oh is a contemporary dance artist based in Phoenix, Arizona. She began dancing at the age of three and has been passionate about dance ever since. Growing up in the Phoenix area, Sarah competed as a contemporary dancer and was also a member of her high school’s dance company. She has trained with organizations such as New York City Dance Alliance, Ririe Woodbury Dance Company, and Ballet West. Sarah graduated from the University of Utah with a BFA in Modern Dance, where she had the opportunity to both perform and choreograph her own work. She has performed in pieces choreographed by Sara Pickett, as well as by Shannon Gillen and Jason Cianciulli, artistic directors of Vim Vigor Dance Company.
After college, Sarah returned to Arizona to pursue her goal of becoming a physical therapist. She worked in a physical therapy office and as a personal trainer before deciding to return to physical therapy school. Currently, Sarah is pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona, with the hope of combining physical therapy with the performing arts. She is committed to advancing both her creative and clinical practices. She hopes to become a travel physical therapist and help many different patient populations.
Sarah is excited to be a part of Cazo Dance and looks forward to rediscovering her passion for dance.
