Teacher
Alyssa began dancing at Mesa Community College. She earned her AAFA in dance from MCC and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in dance from Arizona State University. She trains in multiple styles, including ballet, jazz, and modern. Alyssa is proud to have worked with Grey Box Collective, SM2, and Center Dance Core as a professional dancer.
As a teacher, Alyssa strives to foster curiosity and facilitate educational, technical, and personal growth for her students. She approaches dance training from an anatomical perspective in order to teach students safe dance practice. It is Alyssa’s belief that everyone has a place in the classroom and in the dance world at large.
