About the Show
Nightmare: Dreaming Reality is a multi-media experience that creatively merges new material with fan favorite numbers from previous CaZo Dance Theatre performances. Material from both CaZo’s horror-centric shows and their more romantic-themed performances accentuates how there are plenty of nightmares that are all too real and are much harder to resolve.
In a certain state-of-mind, it can be incredibly hard to know what’s real and what’s simply a figment of the imagination. Many everyday fears and anxieties can be addressed and settled during sleep; Nightmare blurs the lines between dreams and reality, exploring the many facets of what can infect the mind and create the nightmares that haunt us.
Nightmare will make you laugh, cry, and scare you — a little — as it brings dance back to the community after eighteen months of being in a living nightmare.
