Three covens. One power.
When the earth witch, Cybil, falls for the air warlock, Aeros, Lilith, the fire witch, realizes there is only one end to their love: death. But, when the covens turn against Lilith, the rise of a new power threatens to push her to depths unknown.
Coven: An Origin Story fuses modern dance with aerial, tap, hip-hop, and magic in a feature-length production that will leave you mesmerized.
Arrive 30-minutes early to be regaled with songs of yore and dances that will get you in a witchy mood.
This project is partially funded by the Arizona Commission on the Arts and the City of Tempe.
CaZo Dance Theatre Productions
CaZo Dance Theatre produces two full-length productions every year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. We also produce several pieces per year that appear in compilation shows throughout Arizona that showcase various dance companies and styles. Take a peak at some of our previous performances and then purchase your tickets to our show!
CaZo Dance Theatre’s spring shows are more romantic in nature, showcasing the powerful acting abilities of our performers and delivering inspirational and heartbreaking stories that will resonate with you for long after the show is over. Click on the posters below to view more details.
CaZo Dance Theatre’s fall shows are much darker in tone, but don’t let that fool you. There is still plenty of comedy, drama and artistic resonance mixed in among the frightening themes and horror elements that make these shows primed for the Halloween season. Click on the posters below to view more details.
CaZo Dance Theatre’s virtual shows were born out of the desire to continue telling stories during a time when theaters and playhouses were closed or limited to the public. These shows are curated from past performances, mixed with a few brand new dances that help deliver these stories in a fresh new light.
