David Griswold

David Griswold started dancing at age 16 at Metropolitan Arts Institute in Phoenix, Arizona and also trained with Ballet Etudes.  Griswold has also apprenticed for two years with the Alonzo King Lines Ballet in San Francisco, and one year with the American Ballet Theater in New York City. While in New York City, he also had training with The New York City Curious Arts School in Aerial Silks and was a half-time performer for the New York Knicks and Liberty Basketball Team in Madison Square Garden. Griswald has choreographed and performed for Alice Cooper, toured with the 80s pop star, Tiffany,  was a 2-time Zoni winner for best actor and supporting actor in 2005, and appeared in an episode of  Todrick Halls Show. He left dance in 2012 to join the United States Army as a 91B Diesel Mechanic. When Griswold was in service, we was deployed to Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. He completed his military contract honorably as a Sargent. Griswold is happy to be back dancing in Phoenix and is now a AFFA and Ace Certified group fitness instructor and is currently teaching Pole Fitness, Spin, and Barre at Tangible Fitness in Phoenix. He is also a current company member with Scorpius Dance Theatre (on and off since 2004). Griswold was a member of CaZo in 2017.
